October 7, 2009 | FORNEY, TX

Offers Travelers’ Customers an Opportunity to Obtain Theft Protection Solution for Transportation of High-Value Cargo

LoJack Supply Chain Integrity (LoJack SCI), developers of an innovative, first-of-its-kind integrated solution that reduces and manages risk throughout the supply chain, today announced an agreement with Travelers’ Inland to provide theft protection solutions. This agreement offers Travelers’ insureds, who may transport high-value, high-risk cargoes, the opportunity to purchase, lease or rent LoJack Supply Chain Integrity’s cargo tracking, monitoring and recovery solution called LoJack SCI InTransit at a discounted rate.

Travelers’ customers can now purchase the LoJack SCI InTransit covert monitoring devices at a reduced price of up to 25 percent per unit off the retail price. In addition, Travelers’ customers with a temporary need for the service can rent LoJack SCI InTransit on a short-term basis (minimum of 30 days) and are eligible for up to a 15 percent reduction on the rental fee.

“Travelers Inland recognizes that cargo theft continues to be a serious problem in the United States and encourages its customers to better protect their business through comprehensive supply chain security solutions,” said Scott Cornell, Specialty Investigations Manager for Travelers. “We are constantly working with our customers to help them manage the risks they face in their supply chain.”

LoJack SCI InTransit features GPS, Assisted GPS, Cellular (CDMA and GSM) and Radio Frequency technology to provide the most advanced tracking, monitoring and recovery solution in the supply chain. The solution incorporates covert wireless devices for tracking, a web-based user interface that utilizes intelligent mapping and 24/7/365 real-time surveillance and monitoring. LoJack SCI InTransit also includes a Law Enforcement Dispatch and Recovery Network that is unparalleled in the supply chain security market. The system is part of LoJack Supply Chain Integrity’s total solution for reducing and managing risk in the supply chain – the only total integrated solution available today.

Robert Furtado, LoJack Supply Chain Integrity’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “Supply chain security is absolutely critical for businesses today, particularly with the state of the economy. With this program, we are making our powerful LoJack SCI InTransit solution highly accessible on a long-term or short-term basis to interested Travelers’ customers, ultimately providing these companies with a powerful and cost-effective way to protect their high-risk cargo in transit.”

Travelers customers are not obligated to purchase or rent LoJack SCI InTransit and whether or not a customer decides to purchase or rent the device will have no effect on their insurance premium with Travelers
